办理认证须知
送往中国使用的有关文书，可按以下要求向大使馆、总领事馆申办认证。
一、办理认证程序：
1、文书首先由当地公证员（Notary Public，俗称：地保官）公证；
2、本州州务卿（Secretary of State）认证
部分州要求先向COUNTY CLERK申请认证，再申办州务卿认证。
部分司法或政府文件的原件，如法庭判决、出生证、结婚证等无须经过公证即可直接送州务卿办公室认证。有关详情请与所在州的州务卿办公室联系。
3、中国驻美各总领馆认证（申请人应向居住地所属领区的中国总领馆提交申请）。驻休斯敦总领事馆领区为美南八州：阿拉巴马（Alabama）、阿肯色（Arkansas）、佛罗里达（Florida）、佐治亚（Georgia）、路易斯安娜（Louisiana）、密西西比（Mississippi）、俄克拉荷马（Oklahoma）、德克萨斯（Texas）。仅有经上述州州务卿办公室认证过的文件方可送中华人民共和国驻休斯敦总领事馆认证（各州州务卿办公室联系方式附后）。
二、请提交：
1、《公证、认证申请表》（G1）一份；申请表必须由当事人填写,并提供当事人而非代办人信息。
2、申请人护照复印件（复印带照片的资料页、曾办理过延期加注的延期页）。
3、经州务卿认证的文书原件及复印件。普通文件复印公证员、认证官员签署及盖章页。涉及商业、财产类文件须全文复印，且需提供相关证明材料的复印件，如房屋产权证等。
4、认证公司文件还须提供公司的注册证书（Articles Of Incorporation）复印件。
